Opel Vivaro dimensions
3rd gen (X82, 2014-2021)
Published exterior dimensions for all 4 Opel Vivaro panel van sizes, with the wheelbase, the load floor height and the unladen weight you start a conversion from. Every size below can be loaded into the free 3D planner.
Opel and Vauxhall are two names for one company, so the Vivaro sold under this badge in Europe and the Vivaro sold in Britain are a single vehicle - a Renault Trafic with a different grille. That has a practical consequence worth stating plainly: a measurement taken from a European Vivaro can be trusted on a British one, and parts listings for either will fit. The figure to start a layout from is the load floor, which sits 552 mm off the ground on each body in the range, so a design drawn to a particular standing height survives changing your mind about which length to buy.
The Opel Vivaro is the same vehicle as the Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro, Nissan NV300, Nissan Primastar and Fiat Talento. Same body, same dimensions, same weight; a different badge and grille.

How to read these figures
Kerb weights are researched from published Renault Trafic data - the same vehicle, read on 18 August 2026. Basis: dCi 90/95 Business, FWD, 2.74-3.02 t GVW - the base trim, which is the lowest of the three Renault publishes (Business / Business+ / Sport).
Kerb weight (curb weight in North America) is the unladen mass in running order (all fluids, a 90% full fuel tank and a 75 kg driver), for a base-specification panel van at around 3.5 t gross. It is researched and approximate: a real van with options fitted will weigh more, and VanCAD lets you edit the figure on your own design.
Load length is the manufacturer's published floor length behind the bulkhead, measured at floor level in the bare van. Lining, battens and a false floor all take from it, and the figure says nothing about the height or width available above it.
One interior figure is published here, and it is the manufacturer's own: the load length at floor. Everything else about the inside of the van is deliberately absent. VanCAD's interior shapes come from traced reference models, so our own figures for load height, load width or the gap between the wheel arches would be wrong at the precision somebody cutting a bed frame needs, and a cited-and-wrong number is worse than none. Whether a given bed, shower or bike fits is a question the 3D tool answers by putting it in the van.
VanCAD models the mainstream panel van bodies and drive layouts for each van, not every factory option. A maker may also sell four-wheel-drive, chassis-cab or crew-van versions that are not listed here, so anything on this page about which layouts a van comes in describes the versions VanCAD offers rather than the maker's full range.
