Objects and the catalogue
This section is about filling the van: where the things you put in it come from, and how you keep track of them once they are in there.
An object is anything you place inside the van: a bed frame, a fridge, a water tank, a sheet of ply, or something you built yourself in the custom-object editor. Objects carry a weight and a cost, so everything you place feeds your bill of materials.
Components are parametric, not fixed models - resizing one changes the shape it generates rather than stretching a mesh, so a longer worktop stays a worktop.
