Wiring and plumbing
Wiring and plumbing are drawn as runs: a chain of points through the van that becomes a cable or a pipe. Runs sit in the cavity between the van’s outer bodywork and its inner ply lining, which is where they go in a real conversion.
A run carries a system (electrical or water), a type (AC or DC, hot or cold) and a spec (a cable gauge or a pipe diameter). The spec is what sets the weight and cost per metre, so every run you draw lands in your bill of materials at the right figure without you entering anything.
